Aviation College

A rewarding career. With 100% employment. And ZERO cost to students.

The market demand for certified aviation techs — current and future — is staggering. Across Alabama and nationwide, companies are desperate to fill openings for jobs paying an average of $61,000 annually — some up to $90,000 within two to three years of graduation.

Offered in conjunction with Snead State, the Aviation College represents our commitment to Workforce Development — a core component of Mayor Woodfin’s strategic plan for Birmingham. Classes are held on the Museum’s campus with occasional field trips to locations like the Birmingham and Shelby County Airports.

Re-defining Higher Education

With our Dual Enrollment option, you can begin earning a degree as early as your sophomore year in high school — with absolutely no cost to you for tuition, books or your own student laptop. And yes, given the demand for your skills, an Aviation College degree is a virtual guarantee of full employment — in a career that is AI-obsolescence-proof.

Best of all, your degree offers near-unlimited career options. One in four Aviation Tech grads actually pursues careers in other industries. What’s more, many of the skills you’ll develop in our program are the very ones that entrepreneurs need to start their own businesses.
